A Dying Song The wind seemed to fall still to listen closer to the sound of music that only the Angel of Death could hear. Though humans could not see him, Michael preferred to wear a human disguise in his constant appearances on Earth. Here, he had disguised his sword as a violin, traveling to the side of every dying human to play a final song that would soon lift them into Heaven. He wondered, then, why he was brought here, to play his violin at the side of a young woman about to commit suicide. He had never once been responsible for suicides.
